Weekenders

For over two decades, Horizons for the Blind has sponsored Weekenders, an outreach social group for EVERYONE.

Each month, the Weekenders travel throughout the Chicagoland area in search of good food, fun, festivals, nightlife and more! Weekenders is open to everyone. Call 815-444-8800, extension 4, for more information. If you wish to attend, annual membership is only $10.

Lunch options are:

Chicken Parmesan – $40 for Members and $45 for Non-Members

1/2 Slab of Ribs – $36 for Members and $41 for Non-Members

Walleye – $39 for Members and $44 for Non-Members

All meals include soup, salad, potatoes, vegetables, and Spumoni ice cream for dessert. Coffee, tea, and soda are also complementary. We will Christmas Caroling lead by Pam Gilmore. In the spirit of giving, we will also be taking donations for the American Diabetes Association, you can do this donation when you sign up with the receptionist, just let them know how much of donation you want to make.
